Why I Ended Up in Thailand

Filed under: Personal — Jan Goyvaerts @ 10:07

Samira

We were married in 2002. After considering our options, we chose her native Thailand over my native Belgium. The photograph is recent.

The operational side of moving my business merely consisted of making sure I had everything running on my laptop, and carrying it with me on the plane.

  1. I think you made a wonderful decision! Can’t beat life next to the beach and coding hearing the waves hit the shore. Plus life is so much more enjoyable and affordable in South East Asia countries.

People would love to hear your life experience as an international software developer in a different country so please blog more about it!

    Cheers!

  2. OK, so the sun is shining outside, the gleaming towers around Canary Wharf, London are, well, just gleaming. There’s
hundreds of slim and attractive girls tottering around on too high heels, and short skirts. But, I’m still sitting
    in an office, in London.

What an incredible opportunity ! I’m really jealous !

Oh, and I’ve been using EditPad pro every single working day (and too often at weekends) for as far back as
I can remember. It’s a real pleasure to use well written software. Keep up the good work !
